The nonprofit organization 1N3, which was created when Kevin "Sunshine" Yates was killed by a drunk driver, will continue its awareness-raising efforts in Chattanooga with a fundraiser Friday, Nov. 23, at Panda Express, 2260 Gunbarrel Road.
Participation is easy:
* Download the flier from the 1N3 website, www.iam1n3.org (click on Events, and search by date).
* Present the flier when you purchase your meal at Panda Express between noon and 6 p.m. on Black Friday.
For every flier redeemed, owners of the Chinese restaurant will donate 20 percent of the purchase price to 1N3.
Founded in 2011, 1N3 offers programs on drug and alcohol awareness, addiction recovery and grief recovery. It takes its name from the statistic that one in three people are impacted by drunk driving.
For more information, call the organization at 710-8754 or the restaurant at 499-6280.
