NASHVILLE _ State Rep. JoAnne Favors, D-Chattanooga, says she is holding a public fact-finding forum to learn more from non-custodial parents about their experiences with Tennessee child-support laws, policies and interventions.

The forum is set for Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Kingdom Center at 730 East M.L. King Blvd.

In a news release, Favors said she has received an "overwhelming number" of telephone calls from non-custodial parents, their parents and others about "extremely harsh and unjust" interventions resulting in job losses.
