NASHVILLE - U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., has been named to the No. 2 slot on the powerful House Energy and Commerce Committee.
The Brentwood lawmaker will serve as vice chairman of the committee, which has jurisdiction over health care, energy regulation, manufacturing and telecommunications issues.
Chairman Fred Upton, R-Mich., made the selection.
