Welding students sell yard art for charity

Welding students at the Performance Learning Center in Fort Oglethorpe, will be selling yard art they’ve made from scrap metal from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Ace Hardware in Ringgold, Ga. The collection features 57 dogs (including five bulldogs), 19 snails, two tall butterflies, 17 pigs and 150 birds. All proceeds will be donated to the Catoosa Children’s Fund, which helps families in need pay rent and utility bills and buy medicine, clothes and eyeglasses.
