Candidate forum tonight in Brainerd

Arkansas-Tennessee Live Blog

Candidates in local, state and federal races are expected tonight at a political forum sponsored by the Brainerd Unity Group.

Candidates for Chattanooga City Council, state House, state Senate and U.S. House District 3 have all been invited, said organizer Candy Corneliussen.

Questions have been submitted by citizens, Corneliussen said, but it's unclear how many candidates will show up. She said nonincumbents have been more responsive than incumbents.

Political blogger Joe Lance will be the moderator.
