A train struck a pedestrian in Whitfield County on Thursday night, dispatchers said.
The incident happened around 7:45 p.m. on the railroad tracks near Walnut Avenue and Abutment Road in Dalton, Ga.
The pedestrian was transported by ambulance to Hamilton Medical Center with unknown injuries, dispatchers said.
