Lindsey Buckingham, Jamey Johnson set shows

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. today for upcoming shows by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Lindsey Buckingham and traditional country artist Jamey Johnson.

Buckingham, the former Fleetwood Mac guitarist and male lead vocalist, will be in concert at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Track 29.

Johnson will bring his "Living for a Song" tour to the Tivoli Theatre at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, with special guests Wayne Mills and Chris Hennessee.

Buckingham has helped define the sound of rock for the past three decades. He was the predominant musical force behind such Fleetwood Mac albums as "Rumours" and "Tusk." His critically acclaimed body of solo work has yielded such hits as "Trouble," "Go Insane" and "Holiday Road."

Tickets to this all-ages seated show are $38 in advance, $40 at the door. To purchase, visit www.track29.co or call 558-0029.

Johnson has cracked the Top 40 with songs he has performed, including "The Guitar Song," and songs he has written for a who's who of other artists. He is touring in support of his latest album, a tribute to the late songwriter Hank Cochrane, who had songs on the charts for nearly half a century.

All seats are reserved at $33.50 to $42.50. They may be purchased online at www.etix.com, by phone at 642-8497 or at the Tivoli Theatre box office, 709 Broad St.
