The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office seized three pounds of marijuana and arrested three people this week on drug charges.
Terry Darrell Myers, 57, was arrested Thursday after investigators found three pounds of marijuana in a vehicle in Scottsboro, Ala., according to a news release. Officers also seized $1,300 in cash from the vehicle.
Myers was charged with trafficking in marijuana and was transported to the Jackson County jail, the release said. No bond has been set.
In a separate incident, two people were arrested Wednesday after investigators found several items used to make methamphetamine.
Sandra Darlene Walden, 46, and Tracey Lynn Wade, 39, from Section, Ala., were charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia, the release said. Wade also was charged with two outstanding arrest warrants for failure to appear on worthless check charges, the release said.
Both were taken to the Jackson County jail. No bond has been set.
