A crew of city workers is out this morning cleaning up debris on Dodds Avenue that left a number of cars with flats over the weekend.

Steve Leach, administrator of the city's Department of Public Works, said a crew is currently on foot using a magnetic sweeper to pick up the debris. He said it has not been confirmed as of yet exactly what debris led to multiple flat tires of cars driving through the area Sunday.

He said reports were roofing nails and screws. The Public Works crews will be working throughout the day on Dodds Avenue between Rossville Boulevard and Memorial Hospital, Leach said.
