Mammograms

• Cleveland State Community College ACCESS Center and the Mary-Ellen Locher Breast Center at Memorial Hospital will hold a breast health awareness event. Memorial Hospital Mobile Health Coach will be parked in the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium parking lot on Cleveland State Campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday for mammogram screenings for women age 40 and older, with or without insurance, who haven't had a mammogram in the last year. Ages 35-40 need only one screening. Students and community members call 495-4040 or 866-591-2254 for appointment.

NAMI speaker

The Chattanooga Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness will hold its free Speaker's Forum from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Joe Johnson Center, 420 Bell Ave. The speaker is Tim Tatum, director of Behavioral Health, Pine Ridge Center. Women's health

"Mountain Tops & Bottoms: A Woman's Health Event," is a free educational event for women about breast and cervical health. See if you qualify for free pap smears and mammograms. Mental and physical health seminar

Christian psychiatrist Dr. Tim Jennings (Come and Reason Ministries) and cardiologist Dr. James Marcum (Heartwise Ministry) will explore the relationship between mental and physical health in a one-day seminar on Oct. 20, "Modern Medicine, Biblical Technology and the Brain," at the Chattanooga Convention Center. • Breastfeeding class, 6:30- 9 p.m. Tuesday, at Erlanger Baroness (downtown). Learn breastfeeding basics, what to expect the first weeks and tips for success. Concerns about returning to work/school discussed. Coordinated by a board-certified lactation consultant. Registration fee: $30.

• Sleep disorders screening, 9-11 a.m., Wednesday, at Erlanger East (Gunbarrel Road). If you are tired after a good night's sleep, find out more with this free screening. Registration is required.

Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser

The Tennessee Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will host Three Blind Wines fundraiser, 6 p.m., Nov. 15, at The Mill, 1601 Gulf St., Suite 100.
