Interview by Staff Writer John Frierson
University of Tennessee at Chattanooga linebacker Shane Heatherly answers three quick questions about Saturday's game at Furman and more:
Heatherly: "I just hung around and watched some football -- watched Georgia get slaughtered. That's my team. I just tried to relax, keep my feet up and get ready for this week. It's a big week for us. I think everybody got a lot of rest and will be ready to go."
Heatherly: "I remember our defense played pretty good. The offense, kind of slow start, but then we started picking it up and you could just feel the momentum building. Toward the end of the game, we had the band behind us and everyone was dancing and we could just feel like something was happening. It felt really nice getting that win."
Heatherly: "The main thing we've got to do is stop the run. They've got two really good running backs [Jerodis Williams and Hank McCloud], and [Williams] is probably one of the best in the league. If we can slow him down, then we've got a good chance at winning. We've also got to keep an eye on No. 88 [All-American tight end Colin Anderson]. He's a great tight end."
