The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga beat Furman 31-10 on Saturday at Paladin Stadium.
After leading 10-7 at the half, UTC went up 17-7 with 4:59 left in the third when Jacob Huesman scrambled to avoid a sack and then hit Terrell Robinson wide open in the end zone for a 14-yard score.
The two quarterbacks connected on a 38-yard touchdown strike in the second quarter.
Furman answered quickly with a 36-yard field goal to make it 17-10, but a 6-yard rushing touchdown by Robinson and a 10-yard rushing strike by J.J. Jackson helped the Mocs (3-3, 2-1 Southern Conference) pull away in the fourth quarter.
