Collegedale police were involved in a pursuit Friday night near Bill Reed Road, Hamilton County dispatchers said.

The incident started as a vehicle pursuit around 7:40 p.m., then shifted to a foot chase near Pattentown Road, dispatchers said.

Police are still in the area searching for the suspect or suspects.
