A woman who pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake slammed her car into a building on Ringgold Road this morning.
No one was injured, although about $10,000 worth of damage was done to the building at 3920 Ringgold Road, according to a news release from the East Ridge Police Department.
The accident occurred a little before 10 a.m. when the female driver rammed her vehicle into a parked car, a support post and the building itself, said East Ridge Cpl. Robert Wade.
