The Tennessee Supreme Court has suspended Chattanooga lawyer Fred Hanzelik's license for a year, with six months actual suspension and six months on probation.
The court agreed with the Board of Professional Responsibility, which said Hanzelik neglected clients' cases, failed to act with reasonable diligence and promptness and failed to communicate adequately with his clients.
Hanzelik said he would comply with the court's orders but he does not agree with the decision.
