One person has been injured in a shooting that happened around 8 p.m. Wednesday in Meigs County, Tenn., dispatchers said.
The incident happened about nine miles south of Decatur on a back road just off state Highway 58, dispatchers said. The injured person was taken to the hospital and no one was fatally shot.
Meig’s County sheriff’s deputies are on scene and are still trying to figure out exactly what happened.
