• Vocal concert: Chattanooga State Community College, Humanities Building auditorium, 7:30 p.m., free. Sopranos Beth DuRoy and Melissa Larkin Schultz, and pianist Jason DuRoy present A Woman's Life: A Journey in Song."

• Mud Run: The 2012 Moonshine Mud Run (with Zombies) starts today at 7 a.m. at 588 Piney Road in Trenton, Ga. The event, a benefit for United Way of Greater Chattanooga, includes a 5K adult run and a special kids run starting at 9 a.m. Kids compete free and the adult entry fee is $65, with all proceeds going to United Way.
