A man suspected in an Aug. 5 homicide on Tunnel Boulevard has been arrested, according to Chattanooga police.
Langdon Strickland, 28, was arrested and charged with criminal homicide Saturday, police spokesman Nathan Hartwig said in a news release.
The shooting was reported at 8:43 a.m. Aug. 5. Police said they believed the victim, Darrell Lane, had been targeted.
Strickland was arrested at a Microtel Inn in the Atlanta area and is awaiting extradition to Tennessee, Hartwig said.
U.S. Marshals also were involved in the investigation, Hartwig said.
