I-75 shut down after police pursue vehicle

Interstate 75 was shut down Thursday afternoon after Georgia officials pursued a vehicle and it crashed on I-75 North, Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesperson Dalya Qualls said.

The subject of the chase is in custody, she said.

The call came in at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday, and the interstate is still blocked for several miles, Catoosa County dispatchers said.
