2 men arrested on burglary charges in East Ridge

Two men were arrested this morning by the East Ridge police and the SWAT team and charged with burglary.

Joshua Rucker, 22, and Gregory A. Wilson, 21, are both charged with aggravated burglary, while Wilson also is charged with resisting arrest, said East Ridge police Cpl. Robert Wade in a news release.

About 8:20 a.m., police responded to a call at 807 S. Moore Road, where a neighbor had seen two men ride bicycles up to the back of the home and climb in through a window, Wade said.

Once police surrounded the home, one suspect tried to flee on foot but was immediately captured, Wade said.

A little after 9 a.m., the SWAT team entered the home and found the second suspect hiding in the attic, Wade said.
