A man shot at a suspect who stole his truck from the Walmart parking lot at 490 Greenway View Drive on Tuesday afternoon, according to Chattanooga police.

The truck's owner left his keys on the counter, and an unknown suspect picked up the keys, according to a news release. As the suspect was leaving the parking lot in the truck, the truck's owner fired several rounds toward the vehicle.

No bystanders were injured in the shooting, and it is unknown if the suspect was shot, according to the release. The justification of the shooting has not been determined.

The suspect is described as a 20- to 30-year-old white male, 5-foot 11-inches tall, with an average build and dark hair, last seen wearing a black T-shirt with the letter "T" on the front. The suspect may be accompanied by a white female, 18-25 years old, who was last seen wearing a red Elmo shirt.

The stolen vehicle is a 2010 silver Ford F150.
