I-75 lanes closed tonight in Whitfield County

Two southbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Whitfield County will be closed overnight for bridge repairs, according to a news release.

The closure of lanes at the Swamp Creek Bridge  — mile markers 327.8 to — 326.9 — will begin at 6 p.m. today and last until 6 a.m. Thursday, the Georgia Department of Transportation said in the release.

Motorists are invited to call 511 for updated information about the project or visit www.511ga.org.
