Tornado watch issued for Chattanooga area until 3 a.m.

The National Weather Service in Morristown, Tenn., has issued a tornado watch for the Chattanooga-area until 3 a.m. Tuesday.

Blount, Bradley, Hamilton, Knox, Loudon, McMinn, Meigs, Monroe, Polk, Rhea, Roane and Sevier are included under the watch.

These counties — along with Sequatchie, Bledsoe and Marion — are also under a flood watch, that is expected to last through Tuesday morning. Rainfall of up to five inches is possible.
