Councilwoman Sally Robinson announced today she does not plan on running for reelection in the March 2013 elections.
“It’s has been an honor to have been allowed to serve our great city, and I thank all the citizens who have guided me these past 12 years,” she said in a press release. “Chattanooga is poised to take the next steps in continuing to become one of the truly premier cities in the country.”
Robinson has served four terms on the City Council, representing District 2, which goes from North Chattanooga to the lower parts of Hixson. She has worked on such projects throughout as the 21st Century Waterfront and the Moccasin Bend National Park.
She said in the release she would now spend more time devoted to her local real estate brokerage.
