Hamilton County Commissioners voted 8-0 this morning to approve TWH Architects for design of the new East Brainerd Elementary School.
The new school is a key strategy the Hamilton County Board of Education is pursuing to alleviate overcrowding and continued enrollment growth in schools on the county’s eastern side.
The new school is expected to be designed, built and opened by fall of 2014.
