Fatal crash tile

The driver was killed this morning on Bonny Oaks Drive when the vehicle went off the road and into the ditch, police say.

About 11:45 a.m., Chattanooga police were called to a single-vehicle crash at 4400 Bonny Oaks Drive, said police spokesman Officer Nathan Hartwig.

Witnesses said the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Bonny Oaks when it ran off the road.

The driver, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead on the scene, Hartwig said.
