Pot farm busted in Polk County

Narcotics detectives with the Polk County Sheriffs Office located a large marijuana farm Tuesday in Benton.

Eighty-five plants were recovered along as was nearly four pounds of processed marijuana, which had been packaged for resale. The packaged marijuana was found at the home of Benny Stone located at 300 Stone Road.

Stone was arrested and charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana for resale, felony drug paraphernalia, and armed dangerous felonies. His date has been set for September 26 with a $10,000 bond.
