Vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan's motorcade arrived at the Racquet Club of Memphis at 4:10 p.m. this afternoon for his fundraiser set to begin later this evening.
The SUVs in Ryan's motorcade were escorted by roughly a dozen Memphis Police motorcycles and a few squad cars as they pulled into The Racquet Club in East Memphis, where Ryan is meeting with some of his most generous local supporters — some of whom have contributed at least $25,000 to dine with the congressman.
Before Ryan's plane landed at Memphis International Airport this afternoon, he attended a similar fundraiser in Knoxville, where Ryan raised $1 million for the campaign he's running with presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.
