Federal Grand Jury indicts 25 Chattanooga, 4 Marion County residents on gun and drug charges

A Federal Grand Jury in Chattanooga has indicted 25 Chattanoogans and four Marion County residents on gun and drug violations.

The office of U.S. Attorney William C. Killian said the indictments involved charges of distributing and conspiracy to distribute illegal drugs, and illegal possession of firearms.

“Many of these defendants have been arraigned and have entered pleas of not guilty before Magistrate Judges William Carter and Susan Lee,” a news release said.

Dec. 3 and Dec. 4 have been set as trial dates for many of the defendants.

Indicted were Raphael Ar-Rahmaan, Joshua Ausberry, Johnny Barbour, Stephen Beasley, Michael Cal, Izaac Coffelt, Mario Common, Quantez Davis, Spencer Easting, Michael Evans, Alfred Ford, Lewande Haggard, Eric James, Yolanda King, Gregory Lewis, Rodriguez McGlockton, Brandon Morris, Cortney N Nelson, Quinlin Newby, Cedric Paige, Brandon Pollard, Damien Powell, Jermaine Shepheard, Jodero Spears, Terrence Sterling, Adam Vogelmeier, Tyron Walker, Pamela Walters and Alfred Wells.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Ford, Newby, Nelson, Morris and Walters remain at large and asked that people call law enforcement if they have any information on them.
