A former TVA employee has pleaded guilty to felony theft of property valued at over $10,000.

A TVA news release said Michael Farner of Benton, Tenn., was placed on probation for three years by a judge and ordered to pay more than $15,000 in restitution to TVA.

The release said TVA police investigators had recovered hundreds of items that had been taken from work sites around the Ocoee dams in Polk County, Tenn.

Investigators reported that Farner had more than 300 items of TVA on his property. That included fencing, piping, wooden beams and tools, the release said.
