Charles G. “Chip” Pardee has been named executive vice president and chief generation officer of TVA.
Pardee will be responsible for optimizing the agency’s fleet of generation resources and will oversee river operations, fuel procurement and power trading operations, a news release said.
Pardee’s career has included service at three utilities, the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations and GE. Most recently he served as chief operating officer of Exelon Generation.
