Subject: At home on the range

What he said: It was a more relaxed day today. We didn't play any at all. Steven spent a lot of time on the range wanting to feel good about his golf swing. That was the goal.

We got there about 9:30, then we spent and an hour and a half around the chipping area, bunkers and trying to get a feel for the greens and the course and getting comfortable with all sorts of shots. It's to get him ready for any sort of shot that he'll face.

He went and had lunch, and I went to the caddie hut. He spent 30-40 minutes on the range again, then some time putting. It was a more relaxed day and a lot of practice.

He's really trying to make sure that he's rested as well as knowing the course back to front.

Tiger [Woods] showed up, Webb [Simpson] showed up and a lot of tour players showed up. It was cool walking around the range and seeing the guys you see on TV.

The cool thing about [Monday] is that we get the crowds. I think he'll play with T.J. Vogel [U.S. Public Links Champion] and they'll try to get a couple pros. It ought to be fun.
