ESPN analyst Mel Kiper said Wednesday afternoon that former Tennessee and Tennessee Tech receiver Da'Rick Rogers will be a mid-round selection in the NFL draft, which begins two weeks from today.

"He's a talented kid who showed that in the SEC at Tennessee," Kiper said. "He showed that again this past year at Tennessee Tech and had his moments where he looked like an early round pick. I think he gets pushed down a bit because there are a lot of wide receivers in that group who don't have any red flags, but I think talent will get him to the fourth round and maybe the third.

"If I had to project it right now, I would say the fourth round."

Rogers had 1,040 receiving yards for the Volunteers in 2011 and 893 for the Golden Eagles last year.
