Tree cleared after falling on two lanes of I-75 near Calhoun, Ga.

A large tree hit a vehicle when it fell onto two southbound lanes of I-75 earlier today, but officials report there were no injuries and the tree had been cleared from the interstate.

The reason for the tree having fallen was not reported.

A telephone call was made to the Calhoun Police Department about 2:23 p.m. that reported the downed tree.

The incident was reported to have occurred near mile marker 309.
