ATLANTA - The Dalai Lama is set to return to Atlanta and Emory University in October.
The university announced the visit by the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader will be Oct. 8-10 and will include a series of public events on a series of topics including citizenship, ethics and education.
The university has had a close relationship with Tibet over the years, and the Dalai Lama has visited previously as Emory's presidential distinguished professor to meet with students and faculty.
The Dalai Lama is a winner of the 1989 Nobel Peace Prize.
Tickets to an Oct. 8 speech and panel discussion at the Arena at Gwinnett Center will be made available to the public.
