Mother of Red Bank drive-by victim talks about daughter's recovery

RED BANK, Tenn. - The mother of the Red Bank High School student injured in a drive-by shooting is speaking out for the first time.

Teddi Robinson was driving down McMahill Road last week when someone in a passing car opened fire, hitting her. The teen was shot in the arm and the bullet grazed her intestines.

Teddi's mother says her daughter is a fighter and is on the road to recovery. But she still realizes Teddi is lucky to be alive. Doctors told her if the path of the bullet was any different it could have been a lot worse.
