ATLANTA - Police say a man has died after being shot in northwest Atlanta.
Police say the unidentified man was shot Friday afternoon and television helicopter footage showed police responding to a van that was stopped in the middle of Marietta Boulevard. Atlanta Police spokesman John Chafee says it is unclear if the shooting happened inside the vehicle.
Drivers are being asked to find alternate routes through the area.
