Albertville, Ala., man arrested on drug charges

Johnathan Matthew Roden, 35, of Albertville, Ala., was arrested Saturday by the DeKalb County (Ala.) Sheriff’s Office on drug charges.

He was charged with unlawful possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and awaits bond at the DeKalb County Detention Center.

The arrest came after community complaints of drug activity in the County Road 360 area led deputies to a residence where they searched a home.

“I want to thank and urge the citizens of the County to keep calling in their concerns to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office,” Sheriff Jimmy Harris said.
