Tupelo Honey Cafe, which will open a new restaurant at Warehouse Row next month, will conduct a jobs fair to hire employees Aug. 15 through Aug. 19 at the La Quinta Inn, 100 W. 21st St. in Chattanooga. The Asheville, N.C.-based eatery will employ about 100 workers at its new Chattanooga restaurant, including culinary staff, bartenders and other restaurant workers. The 5,500-square-foot restaurant located at the motor court entrance of Building North on Market Street will offer indoor and patio seating for 150 patrons.
House-Hasson gathers 2,000
Chattanooga will be the site of House-Hasson Hardware’s 2013 fall product show, an event which will bring 2,000 visitors to Chattanoga. The Knoxville-based hardware wholesaler, the country’s largest independent regional hardware distributor, will bring its market to the Chattanooga Convention Center on Oct. 17 to Oct. 19. The 105-year-old company serves some 2,000 hardware store and lumberyard owners in 17 states.
Answer Financial adds more jobs
Answer Financial, one of the largest online auto and home insurance agencies, will hold a career fair on Aug. 16 and 17 at the Hilton Garden Inn on Shallowford Road.
The career fair will be to fill sales positions and will run each day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
