MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The Montgomery Biscuits blanked the Chattanooga Lookouts 7-0 in Southern League baseball Friday night.

A change of location on a 10-game road trip did not change the outcome, as Chattanooga lost for the sixth consecutive time to drop to 14-26 in the second half and to 49-61 overall. This is the first time all season that the Lookouts have been 12 games under .500.

Montgomery broke open a scoreless game with a six-run third inning at the expense of Lookouts starting pitcher Andres Santiago, who yielded singles that inning to Hector Guevara, Shawn O’Malley, Mikie Mahtook, Kyeong Kang and Curt Casali.

Game two of the five-game series is tonight at 7:35 EDT. Duke von Schamann (2-4, 4.59 ERA) is scheduled to start on the mound for the Lookouts, with Marquis Fleming (2-5, 4.92) scheduled for the Biscuits.
