Strangers show care, helpfulness

Often times strangers, not friends, are the people who are nearby when you have trouble. This was the case when my husband, who has dementia, became lost at Hamilton Place mall.

Those around me noticed my concern and were comforting to me and very helpful in the search. They alerted Officer Newberry who located my husband and returned him to me unharmed.

I want to publicly thank Officer Newberry, Ryan Wells, Jade Lockhart and Erin Hamilton for their kindness, and I want to encourage other "strangers" to notice and be helpful when someone is in distress.
