Dalton Police Department seeks information on tow truck used in theft

The Dalton Police Department is seeking information from the public on the owner of a tow truck used last month in the theft of an antique truck from a garage.

A neighbor's surveillance system recorded the incident.

The theft took place on July 28 at 129 Grace St.

The stolen truck has Georgia tag number BZT6617 and was described as inoperable. It had been parked in a car port for several years, a police department news release said.

Anyone with information should call Detective Sam Eaton at 706-278-9085, extension 158.
