East Ridge suspends animal services officer in stalking case

East Ridge Animal Services Officer Cederick Jackson has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of a stalking case.

Chattanooga police informed the East Ridge Police Department that Jackson had an active warrant for stalking stemming from a CPD investigation.

Jackson has worked for the City of East Ridge since 2005 and East Ridge Animal Services since 2009.

His court case is scheduled for August 30.
