CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office has arrested a couple on charges that include murder in the death of their 4-year-old daughter.
The Leaf-Chronicle reported the Tuesday arrests of 27-year-old DeMarkus Taylor and 26-year-old Rawny Taylor.
Jail records show they were booked late Tuesday night on charges of first-degree felony murder, child abuse and making a false report. They are held in lieu of $250,000 bond each.
The arrests follow an investigation into the July 12 death of Arianna Taylor. The state medical examiner's office issued a report that the girl died of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
It wasn't clear this morning whether the suspects had attorneys.
