A 3-year-old unrestrained boy has died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle crash in Cocke County.

Criminal charges are pending, according to a report filed by Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Randy Spurgeon

Atorius Wayne Cody died from injuries caused by a 12:45 p.m. Wednesday crash on U.S. Highway 25E near Newport, according to Spurgeon's report. The crash occurred near the intersection with State Route 32.
