Man charged in shooting at Cleveland club

A man wanted for a July 28 shooting at a Cleveland, Tenn., club was arrested Friday after a standoff with the Chattanooga SWAT team in East Lake.

On July 28, Cleveland police believe Cadarius Cochran, 23, was the gunman who shot three people outside Luv 2 Dance club.

Friday, Chattanooga SWAT officers responded to a tip that Cochran was at East Lake Courts, 2222 E. 25 St., in Chattanooga.

After a period in which Cochran refused to exit the complex, SWAT team members were able to peacefully take him into custody. He was booked at Hamilton County jail and taken afterward to Bradley County, where he faces aggravated assault charges, among others.
