Bradley County fugitive added to TBI's 'most wanted' list

A Bradley County, Tenn., man who allegedly tried to run over a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agent was added today to the TBI's Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

Howard Montgomery Callaway is wanted on 32 counts of aggravated burglary, aggravated evading arrest and violating federal probation while on supervised release.

A TBI agent had tried to stop Callaway on Monday at the intersection of Bancroft Road and Harrison Pike, and Callaway reportedly tried to run the agent over. The agent was not injured.

On Tuesday morning, Callaway's alleged accomplice, April Michelle Gamill of Cleveland, Tenn., was arrested by TBI agents on charges of evading arrest, resisting arrest and simple possession.

Callaway has a tattoo on his right and left shoulder and his upper right arm, according to TBI's website.

There is a $1,000 reward for Callaway, and anyone with information on his whereabouts can call 1-800-824-3463.
