A sudden rockslide has closed part of U.S. Highway 64 until at least Thursday morning, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Department.
The slide happened at about 7 p.m. Wednesday near Madden Branch, and is expected to keep the road blocked for at least 12 hours, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
Nobody was injured during the rock slide.
