Jalen Hurd’s senior season is over almost as soon as it began.
The Beech standout, a Tennessee commitment considered the top player in the state, injured his shoulder during Sunday’s 42-39 Buccaneers victory at Station Camp and said Wednesday he won’t play again this year.
“I’m heartbroken it happened,” said Hurd, the No. 1 player in the GameTime Dandy Dozen. “But I have to look forward, get it fixed and healed, go up to UT and do the best I can.”
