Luncheon honors philanthropists

What: The Southeast Tennessee chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals recently held its annual luncheon honoring philanthropists and volunteerism at The Chattanoogan in recognition of National Philanthropy Day.

Honorees: Jim and Amy Jo Osborn, Dr. Bill Stacy, Zan Guerry, Pete Cooper, Anna Carroll and the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

Wine-tasting pours money into Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

What: More than 400 guests attended Three Blind Wines, a wine-tasting event held in Stratton Hall. Each guest brought two bottles of wine, in addition to the ticket price, and a wine cellar was awarded at the end of the evening. Andrea Moffett was this year’s winner.

Benefits: The event raised $63,000 for the Tennessee Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
